Hey all - Jason here.

I started model building when I was seven. Up until now I have mostly done out of the box models. About five years ago I started model railroading which really increased my interest in weathering and attention to detail. Now I am getting back into plastic models with this new interest at the forefront.

Since I am rusty, I am starting with a car model to get technique dexterity back in form. After that I am off to the races with 12 1/48 Tamiya F4U-1A Corsairs and 4 1/48 Tamiya Zero Type 21s. Ultimately I will do a ground diorama with 8 of the Corsairs and an aerial diorama with 4 Corsairs and 4 Zeros.
