Kawasaki ZX1400 brake hose problem

Hello all

This model has been a pain in the ar5e to build as i have had the paint react three times and now i have broken the lugs off one of the front brake calipers so i cannot attach the tubing.

I have no idea why the paint reacted as i used Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics so i can only assume the problem is me and contamination from my fingers but any ideas on how i can attach the tubing would be greatly appreciated.

Try drilling a small hole where the lug broke off then using some Albion alloys brass rod insert that into the hole with a drop of super glue then you should be able to place the brake hose over the brass rod, hope this helps

i had the same problem with the paint my problem was I didn't leave the primer to dry out fully
