Hi from East Yorkshire

Evenin' all, a quick post to introduce yet another old duffer emerging from the tunnel of mortgage, kids, etc., blinking in the light and saying, "now, where did I put that airbrush?".
Thirty year gap for me, and I've been back at it for about eighteen months. Mrs WRK suggested I take up a hobby when I was recovering from radiotherapy, and so it began - she now realises she's created a monster, but it's too late, the plastic bug has bitten.
Mainly building 1/48 aircraft, but I'm not averse to a change in scale or even the occasional vehicle. Standard is nowhere near a lot of the stuff I see posted, but appears to be gradually improving. The main thing is that I'm loving the hobby again, and loving all the new tools and techniques developed since the Eighties - not to mention the quality of kits being produced!
Looking forward to getting involved - it's quite a solitary hobby (which is a good thing overall), so it's nice to communicate with fellow enthusiasts.

To upload pictures to the forum you are best using a third party host like photo bucket, heres a guide video on how to use photo bucket and upload pictures to the forum. It also shows you basic usage of the forum so may prove a useful video, any more questions please feel free to ask.
