Rins WIP Tamiya Sherman and Battlestar Galactica

Hi Guys
I thought I would also post whats on the airbrush workbench and my next WIP. The main project is the Sherman which will be out of the box mainly because I don't paint military armour and I thought I would give it a go!

So I already have a question about the correct colour of a early Sherman. I have seen modellers paint a Sherman Vallejo Drab Olive, Vallejo Tank Green, and Vallejo Olive green do any of you guys have any experience painting Sherman's? If so what is the correct colour? I personally love Vallejo tank Green for Sci fi armour but that is just me!

Depends if your going for a US or British Sherman? If British, then Russian Uniform is a good close colour to the green shade used on those vehicles. The Americans painted theirs in a different colour, and I believe Vallejo Brown Violet is a good match for that.

Good couple of kits their

Im pretty boring and just use Vallejo Olive drab or Russian green as a base .

I think I will go for the Vallejo olive drab as I have the colour and I think in know what I will highlight it with.
