Hello from Newcastle upon Tyne!

Hello everyone!

My name is Gareth and I live in Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K. but I'm originally from a town called St. Helens which is mid way between Liverpool and Manchester. I used to build lots of model aeroplanes (badly) when I was a young lad and have them hanging from my bedroom ceiling. I haven't built a model kit since then. I guess the desire to make stuff never really goes away. The other week I decided to start building models again so I bought my first kit, Airfix's 1/72 Mitsubishi Zero. I'm enjoying the build as it seems to fit together much better than the Airfix stuff I remember building as a kid, but it might just be that I have more patience now too! I'm also into model trains which is a whole different ballgame!

I build all the above from airfix and has been really cool builds.
everything new that Airfix has released are really nice models with new tooling.
