Well finally after a very slow build. Kept getting shouted at by the wife for not doing any of my chores ;) I have finally finished my first ever proper model with weathering and all that grown up stuff.

Thanks Paul for the tutorial it helped an awful lot. I've taken a bit of artistic liscence and tried my own thing as I just wanted to do the yellow nose. Learnt an awful lot and this could possibly be the most expensive model ever as I started with pretty much nothing and now have a large selection of Tamiya and Mr hobby paints, new h&s airbrush tools etc.

Anyway here are some quick pictures, just a spot of touching up here and there and totally done. I'll take some proper pictures later and even do a final reveal thread just cause I can.

I know I've overdone the weathering a bit and need a bit more patience with cleaning up a wash etc but overall I think I'm happy. And very pleased to have finished one at last.

Cheers for the very kind words chaps. Just waiting for a nice bit of weather so I can take some decent pictures of it outside with a proper camera to wrap everything up.

Then it's on to the Saturn V with some scary looking resin add on bits and bobs. Lots to learn.
