Cockpit is painted Akan AKAN Emerald Green nr.73006, Vallejo Flat Black 71057, some weathering done with Vallejo Steel 71065 and Khaki brown 71024. Next step weather cockpit generally.

Jet Engine:

Jet Engine is painted generally AK Extreme Metals, Stainless steel, Aluminium, Dark Aluminium, and Jet Exhaust.
Pictures dont show all what is done to engine, but it seems AK Extreme Metals are very nice paints.
They are easy to paint with airbrush (H&S Ultra, 0,2mm) and tinting (i dont know correct word) color to color is easy. This is 1st timers opinion. ;) Cleaning is easy too, i used AK Extreme Cleaner to clean airbrush. This is 1st timers opinion again.

I think your Mig-21 is coming along nicely. I havent had an experience, myself, with Eduard yet, but I like the looks of builds from others and yours is no exception.

As for the paints, I use AK Extreme Metals quite a bit and really like they way they perform. I find that they are a little more opaque than Alcald paints, but the same basics apply. They still have a smell to them, but not nearly as potent as Alclads. The nice thing is that I have used both products together (not mixed together) on the same kit and have not noticed any bad reactions.

Looking great so far Ice.

Jelliot: you won't be disappointed with Eduard, they are top notch models, especially the Profipack boxings which come with masks, PE etc.
Regards, Dave.
