1/48 Italeri F-4E Hellenic AF

Hello fellow plastic addicts.

Here are the pictures of my last model.

This is the F-4F Italeri (rebox of Testors), which is a "bit" plain......

Exactly for that reason it was, for many years, my "crash test dummy", whenever I wanted to test a new technique the poor thing was called to the bench ....

After several paint layers, cutting the flaps, rudder, air brakes and so on; I decided to strip the paint, take it apart and re-glue the pieces like it should be. I thought of practiced my scribing (since the lines of this model were all in raised) and riveting. I add some scratch, such as the air intakes and turbine fans(which were non-existent), the nozzles have been improved and the IFF antennas and air intake on the nose.

Paints Used: Vallejo Model Air, Tamiya and home mixed craft paint (main fuselage color).
Clear Coats: Future (Clear Gloss), windor & newton Matte
Decal Solutions: white vinegar mixed with water, IPA mixed with water
Weathering: home made Washes from water colors and Tamiya smoke.
































































This has been a VERY enjoyable build from a model that about a month ago I thought it was unbuiltable.......
