Hi Ian, this one been kicking around for sometime a bit like me, I'm surprised I've still got all the part's,It's one of those you start while you are waiting for something to arrive in the post, It's the last of my stash , I've got 7 build's left that I want to do, then I'm probably calling time on the hole proceedings.

I have seen the kit on sites before, but being academy I am usually a bit dismissive. So even though some detail is under par some isn't and it looks nicer than I wood have thought. Course that could just be that you have dynamite modeling skills
Shame your going to hang up your spurs, failing health is a crappy card to be dealt. I think I might be starting on that road myself. I have to have a procedure on my prostate in the early new year....date hasn't been set yet. I ain't looking forward to it. Bad enough when they stuck a camera up there for a look...not recommended !

Hi got a bit more done.

Made up, both tracks, front recovery cable, some spare tracks + bracket for the rear and fitted.










Made the Commander & Driver.



Then some hairy stick primmer.

Hi thank you,I used 0.3 jewellery wire for this one its only a very light tank 10 tones.

You might find this handy.
1/35 Tank Cables.

Panzer III IV 0.6 -07 mm.
Panthers/Tigers 0.6- 0.9 mm (The Panther had 3 cables a 0.5 mm track changing cable).
US/British 0.5-0.6 mm.
Russian 0.8-1.1 mm

I don't known if everyone is aware that German tank cables had a LEFT hand twist
You can use then for rope as well.

Hi sorry not sure what you mean (pic might help?).I make the cable and use the originally tow eyes (or after market one)by cut out plastic cable part and drill a hole in the end of the tow eye for the new cable end c a glue it in.

Nice build. Really it is. Try to overmake the eyes on staff. Especially driver.There are some videos on youtube. Very usefull.

Thanks Mike,there not finish yet, but I will have a look on youtube, nice tip.Painting is my down full I hairy stick every thing and that and to meany drugs you end up with a paint by number set,I leave clever painting to others.

Hi finish my last build, and have decided to stop posting builds it's getting a bit embarrassing now so i'm going to hang up my spurs and cutters, failing health is the only reason.Still have good days but less and less of them, there still a few builds I'm do one big D-day diorama for a friend who asked me to do one about a year ago.

Been a cold summer so far., bur sure that will change in a couple of months....
