Tips on creating a weathered black finish on an aircraft

Hi all,

Well my second plane build is a 1:48 Tamiya Beaufighter, night fighter. It's supposed to be all black

Obviously being all black, the panel line accentuation and weathering is completely different from standard and I've been struggling to find comprehensive tips on how to approach it. I searched the forum and one advice was to use greys rather than blacks. I used Mr Hobby rubber black to coat the entire aircraft and it looks good, but now I'm stuck as to how approach post shading as well as weathering. Any tips, links to guides would be greatly appreciated

I managed to find some info on post shading panels in different colours so I have gotten started on that.....LOTS of masking tape

my first (and only so far) attempt at a black aircraft didn't turn out too bad, the secret was not to use black!
