Panzer IV Ausf.H 636 - 6./Pz.Rgt. 3, 2. Panzer Division

A bit of guesstimate or educated guess, this is an Early Ausf H built by Vomag. Tank 633 of the 3rd Reg/2nd Pz Div seemed to be one them.
Vomag was possibly the first factory to start building Ausf Hs, which were really almost identical to Ausf G. In fact, Dragon says that 633 was a Vomag Ausf G and Tamiya says 633 was an Early Ausf H. Something tells me this was a very Early Ausf H.

Base kit was Italeri's 236 and I used parts from Dragon and newer Italeri kits to upgrade it

Very nice upgrade of the Italery kit. I love the wheels and the rust on exhaust - did you use pigments?

fantastic - i love the use of T34 tracks on the front of the tank - they used these to give added protection.
the paint job is wonderful and so is the weathering - really great work.

Thank you very much for the kind comments, much appreciated! I have upgraded the Italeri kit, but all the work was done to backdate the kit, quite odd isn't it?

Yes, I have used pigments for the exhausts. I make my own pigments by grinding dry pastels.
