I know this question can wait but i found a list of aircraft that the FAA used and was wondering if we could build anything on that list including aircraft the FAA had for evaluation purposes ??

I have not decided yet what i will build for that sig yet but would like to keep my options open and build something unusual if possible

I have a Westie Sea King headed my way for April...not buying any other kits for next year's ISM builds

I'm thinking about the sea King too. No more kits?! Does that mean lots of scratch builds?,

Just bought a PE set for the Sea King....but that isn't a kit!!

I discover a Glider with Royal Navy Markings , could he enter in the SiG ? It is an DFS olympia , and it is in the list of gliders used by FAA

The Fleet Air Arm possessed 4 aircraft ex RAF which were equiped for transport duties, one Mk III, two Mk IV and one Mk V. All were delivered to 781 and 782 sqaudrons, the first arriving in June 1944 (AM550). All were returned to RAF charge at 29MU between July and September 1945

The Hudson is recollected in FAA history for one well known crash, when Admiral Ramsey of WWII fame was killed. Aircraft AM 550 of 781X Flight crashed on take off on 2 January 1945 at its base at Tussus-le-Noble, killing the pilot Lt Cdr Sir GJE Lewis, PO DL Morgan and Admiral Ramsey, Cdr G Rowell and Lt D Henderson.
