Hello everyone.

I've been lurking on the International Scale Modeler FB page for a while now. I have not been very active on the forum. Time to change that now.

I am 50 years old and, like so many of us, i used to build plastic scale models as a kid. I pretty much spent every last penny (well actually every last cent) on them. At a certain age i lost interest though and i did not touch a kit until about twenty years ago when i was between jobs for quite a while. I kinda started off where i left as a kid but pretty soon became better and got eager to improve my skills. I was pretty happy with my progress but when a i got a new job i could not find the time nor the motivation to do any modelling.

About two years ago i started again. Due to work and family i still do not have a lot of time (i finished 6 kits in the past 2 years) but i enjoy it immensely. I prefer to build aircraft (mostly 1/72) and cars.

Despite my low build rate i am considering to join in on a group build. Not yet sure which one.

Anyhow. I am looking forward to spending time here on the forum.
