Group build and SIG Badges

Post by MarkVerploeg »

Well like the title suggest it us about badges
At the moment i have seen a couple for the current gb and sig but is it possible to get them as smaller badges in your profile
Kind of like i have seen at Armorama in the past
I don't know if they still have that feature as i haven't seen that site in a long time
I kbow there should be a possibility to add something like it as another forum that i am a member of has this for the club memebers
They can get a TWENOT badge that is placed underneath that small profile part in a post
And TWENOT or the DAA for non dutchies uses the same kind of forum setup as ISM
But i think it would look cool if you can have a sort of medal for each gb you complete
It is just a suggestion though
Cheers
Mark

If you choose to prestige, do you lose all your perks and attachments, and start at level 1 again? Lol!

I was thinking this too. Wouldn't it be good to see a record of all the GBs and SIGs that someone has entered? I initially thought that was the idea but then saw that you have to remove it after the build is over.

I really like this idea - on a cigar forum I'm on you get medals for various things that the owner awards (like smoking a cigar with him, being a great newbie etc - a screen is below to give you an idea

You could also possibly have a different colour for completed builds, third place, second place and first place :)

I like the idea guys and it's one I've toyed with for awhile now, but logistically it's a real PITA and I just don't have the time to sort it out I'm afraid. Would love to get something like it in place

Isn't it something on of the moderators could do
I don't know what is involved in making it happen but is someone is able to do it then it would be something you and Paul don't have to worry about

No, moderators can only move and change posts etc. This would take forming a picture set, entering code on the root drive of the boards. Not something I'd let anyone else at.....lol :)
