Look forward to watching this build.

I was hoping for a racing build too - it's a topic that seems to be lacking on this forum.

Built one of these a year ago really enjoyed building it but a word of caution the decal on the nose is a pig and then lining the bulls up on the top is very hard I found that a hair dryer helped to soften them enough but they are fragile enjoy it

With these parts painted it was time to put them together

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

The next sections

Image

Image

These were then painted in a paint that was mixed and if i do say so myself it looks like carbon fibre i'm not sure if you can tell in the pics

There is some carbon fibre decals to go on as well but ot sure wether to use them or not i may put a couple on and see how they look

Image

Image

Image

Image

They have also been given a gloss coat.

That's all for now thanks for taking a look and for your coments

Do you want to reveal what mix did you use to create the carbon fiber effect? Because it really looks like carbon fiber!!!

Another update and thanks for all the comments they are much appriciated

The main body was painted up and the decals applied there is a one piece decal for the nose that broke up when applying it so i had to go with the seperate decals

Image

Image

Image

Image

and the side panels

Image

Image

Next the seat and steering got the same treatment

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

The air intake

Image

Image

Image

Image

The front suspension got the same

Image

and here it is fitted together

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Now on dry fitting the body to the chassis there will need to be some clever clamping to close up the joins i hope this is possible as i don't really want to be masking over the decals even though they have been clear coated

Image

Image

Image

Image

That is all for now thanks for taking the time to look and agan thanks for all your comments
