Airfix Spitfire MKXII

Post by Nige201980 »

Here she is all finished
She was paint with the old hairy stick and humbrol enamels. The decals were really nice to work with and settled down really well she was weathered with oils and pastels.
Really enjoyed doing her a few fit issues but nothing serious.
Hope you like the look if her I think I could have maybe done a little better but I still think she came out well. All photos taken on my iPhone and downloaded to photo bucket from it and used it to load upto ISM.
Thanks for looking.

Love it. And you did this without an airbrush too, very nice.
This has turned out very well indeed.

Thanks for sharing mate

Great work! I love it when people show what can be achieved with a hairy stick, I have an airbrush but rarely use it. Well done, Nige, on the build, the paintwork and proving that the hairy stick isn't dead!

Thanks Phil I really enjoy it when a kit comes together well but I was not a 100% happy how it turned out but every build is getting better and better and with all the comments makes me want to do an even better job so thank you all.

Again Nigel, with the awesome!
