Tamiyas Zero A6M2 Photo Documentation

Hello fellow Modelers,

after 25 years Iam returning to scale modeling. Iam starting with Tamiyas Zero A6M2 1:48 and have two questions:

1) could you recommend good photo documentation I could use as reference
2) would you prefer Tamiya colors or Model Air (Valejo) ? There is IJN Set from Valejo http://www.vallejo-farben.de/vallejo-mo ... 169-i.html

You could buy a book, there'll be lots out there covering the Zero. Alternatively, and cheaper, google images. I would be surprised if there isn't a website dedicated to Zero information out there somewhere!
'Walkarounds' are also good to search for, for detail pics. And don't forget 'period photos' for images of the real thing, rather than restored museum pieces.

Tamiya or Vallejo? I actually like them both as they are readily available in my local shops. So whichever you prefer working with. Others will have different opinions, lol!

Have only used vallejo primers so can't comment on model air. Tamiya sprays beautifully tho and you can't really go wrong. They also make some IJN specific colors.
