"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK?" - A NEW SEGMENT OF FRIDAY NIGHT'S ISM LIVE "AT THE BENCH" SHOW!

* Open now until 1 hour before the show on Friday, January 27th! *

** PLEASE read ALL of the rules below carefully! **

Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Forums!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Facebook page. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.
We thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your models! - Lee Larholt, Paul Bretland, and the rest of the ISM moderators and live crew. :-)

heres my 1/24 scale airfix stuka that i've re started building after leaving it half finished for about 5 years! , the only aftermarket parts are an airscale instrument panel and an original "flick to start" 1970's motor, what painting there is, has been done with xtracolour enamel, and will be used to finish this kit.

This week I'm finishing off my Airfix 1/72 Red Arrows Hawk. Painted at the weekend using Humbrol "Arrow Red" - awful stuff! Today I got all the decals done, and now only need to add the underwing strakes and the front gear bay doors. Then some gloss and it'll be done!

While technically not working on it this week, I was putting on final touches when the thread started; so that's close enough for me.

This is the 1/48 Italeri P-51D/K Pacific Aces kit with no aftermarket. Painted with Stynylrez Black Primer; the main exterior colors are Tamiya X-11 Chrome Silver and XF-62 Olive Drab. Various other details were other Tamiya acrylics. A link to the build thread including other photos can be found in my signature.

This is my Tamiya 1/35 scale Panther AusfA. Its the old 1969 motorized kit without the motorworks. I wanted to experiment with airbrushing, camo and weathering on a cheap armor. I'm new to it all so $19.00 delivered was worth a chance. Painted with Tamiya XF60 Dark Yellow and XF67 NATO Green. I've done a pinwash with MIG dark wash and some chipping. Hoping to get the tracks weathered and on this weekend and finish it up with MIG European Earth and some dust effect. Thanks, Matthew.

I have been working on a Phantom's belly this past week
Image

Kit is Tamiya rebox of Italeri F4S Navy Phantom in 1/72nd scale. No aftermarket
Paint is all Tamiya as this was supposed to be for the I Love Tamiya build, but life got in the way.
The weathering is MIG dark oil wash to give her a dirty bird look.
Needs an overall flat coat still and the topside canopies finished off.
:cheers2: guys. I will probably miss the live show but will watch the repost.

Well I have been continuing work on my Bandai high grade RGM-79 GM mobile suit. Not managed too much bench time :violin: but here it is...

Image

Have used Tamiya paints, on a Ultimate black primer. Ultimate dark dirt wash and then lots of dry brushing. Still got hands to do and might try some oil steaks etc but nearly there now.

Cheers :cheers2:

Started working on this Tarangus JA37 Viggen on Tuesday, hoping to have it done for Viggens 50th birthday on Feb 8th. Have, or will be adding Maestro models cockpit PE, exterior PE, thrust reverse doors, resin wheel bays, canards, pylons and ram air turbine. Cockpit was painted in Ultimate Primer and Mr Hobby 307 and the rest will be painted in Mr Paints Swedish colors and then finished with decals from Moose Republic.

Hope it's not too late, posting on the run with a baby on one arm, but I'd nominate recent gunpla SiG finisher batcode's Sinanju: http://www.intscalemodeller.com/viewtop ... 69&t=21319

It's well executed and super shiny. :cheers2:
