Great kit, is it better then the Airfix kit ?
The answer is in yes, although the Airfix kit is a enjoyable build and a quality kit, I've built two, the Eduard kit is far more detailed and wins hands down on the quality of the decals.
Paints used
Vallejo grey primer
Mr hobby for the camo
Tamiya for the Yellow
Flory dark dirt wash
Klear for the gloss and Vallejo for the matt finish
EZline was used for the aerials

the base was a bargain find on Ebay, £1.57 plus 1.20 postage stained with some antique Pine I found in the garage and I stole from my sons train spares the grass covering

many thanks to everyone for there support on this build

Who needs a detailed diorama crowded with people when you can steal the show with an awesome looking plane all on it's own? Stunning work!

Beautiful 109. Terrific paint work, subtle weathering, and immaculately done decals. This is a real show stopper.

Beautiful 109, looks like a good kit. Really nice to just sit and admire. I think the base is ideal as well, simple, uncluttered and very effective! Great pics too, what did you use for lighting? Or was it just a nice sunny day?
