italian camo ww2 help

Post by napadaanlng »

I'm wanting to build my Tamiya-Italeri AB43 but the camo looks difficult to do?

Here's a link from a russian scale modeling site. The yellow line just looks awesome and intimidating to look at.

Any method to achieve the camo? Can silly putty do the trick?

you can clearly see.... it has been hand painted afterwards... concentrate on making tight red blotches... over green base-coat then... slowly handpaint your yellow outline with a good quality brush and a properly thinned paint with some retarder to help smooth the finish ! Good luck !

I usually brush with tamiya acrylics in painting small details and i have to go on several coats to complete it and it works well.

What's a good paint that lays flat when you brush it?

PS: tamiya acrylics are common in my area
