The KV1 is a strange looking tank and in my book that's a good thing and I really like it. Great work.

WOW! I love the changes you made - especially the texture on the turret. What did you use?

Keep posting, I look forward seeing this beast in colour ;)

Hi Tiger213
For the casting turret texture I've used two different method combined:
1) Soft massage with Dremel round burs in different size. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZnb1aRQ8TI You can use it also bended burs if you prefer...You have just to scrub it a little to make it less aggressive on plastic. In the end I like to give a soft touch of acetone or Tamiya extra thin cement in order to smooth everything
2) Tamiya Putty mixed with acetone dumped on the turret with an old brush. Note: Mr. Surfacer 1000 work it as well, but the method with putty and acetone works better for me. it seems to me it give me a much better control.

Finally I've made some various size hole with an hot needle, randomly on the turret surface

Stay tuned for more upgrade soon! :pop:

very nice work! those kv kits from trumpeter are already amazing (and cheap!) kits.
but with the adding of additional detail and nice painting you made it look outstanding! :thumb2:
