Help needed ?

Hi I kinda messed up a panel looks really really bad

Is there a product or some technique I can use to completely fill this hole up and construct the side of the plane ??

Oops! How did you do that?

I would get some filler (Squadron green is a popular one) and then sand it once it's fully set. Put some masking tape round the area you want to sand so that you don't lose any surrounding detail, then starting with a coarse sandpaper gradually use finer and finer grades followed by a buffer to make it smooth.

Someone else may be able to describe the process better than me, but good luck!

So far I managed to fill the gap with some pieces from another kit (left overs)
And tomorrow I'll fill this and then fill with putty then smooth it out and hopefully should be ok

I guess long as I don't lose that detail.

This putty you suggest?? Is it like vergello (sorry bad spelling) or is it better for filling big holes ?

Good thinking using spare styrene. If you have Vallejo Plastic Putty (is that what you mean) that would work too.

Thumbs up, I have that putty it's my favourite little tool, I'm always finding something to fill on the models c:

I think it should be ok, I guess as long as I take my time and don't sand over the details and just fill the hole.

In future I might not mess up the open door and fuel filling rod hose (I'm not sure the correct term for the filling arm)

I just gave it a tiny coating (layer) of air fix glue over the new panel, which should go rock solid by tomorrow.
I'll sand the glue layer and get it totally smooth then coat it with a layer of putty sand that. c:

Does this sound like I'm doing the right thing ???
I'm not sure about my glue layer but I think it fills holes and joins panels well c:

I wouldn't use the glue, since the purpose of the glue is to actually melt the plastic underneath it in order to physically weld the two plastic pieces together. That's why glue should only be applied in very, very thin layers. Applying glue the way you done, actually worsens the situation (don't worry, I've done the same mistake until I learned the properties of the glue). However, since you applied the glue on top of styrene which you intend to cover with putty anyway, you will get away with it this time.

It looks to me, that you used way too much glue fitting the nose cone, and have either used a looot of glue on the side panel, or melted the plastic in some way by for example using a Dreml tool. Most hand tools such Dreml rotate waaay to fast for plastic and melts the plastic rather than causing nice holes. But I have successfully used a battery-driven scewdriver at fairly low speed to drill.
