Hi Guys and Girls!

I'm Martin from Port Glasgow in the West of Scotland and I'm 31 years old.

I got into modelling when I used to sit and watch my Grandad build planes. After a long break I picked up a 1:72 Airfix Tiger kit 6 years ago and I was hooked. I've been out of the game for about 2 years, concentrating on Warhammer, but I'm back in the saddle now having picked up Takom's T-55A.

I'm mostly an treadhead, with a particular fondness for modern Soviet/Russian vehicles. Although I have a soft spot for anything modern.

I'm glad your friend enjoyed his visit here in Evansville, the people here are friendly, and we have another hockey team here called the Thunderbolts. This team was named for the P-47 Thunderbolt that was manufactured here during WWII across the road from the airport. This group of modelers are very friendly, always willing to help. You will not find any rivet counters in this group. Having fun w/ your builds is the main thing w/ISM, if you find you've lost the modeling mojo, put the project aside for a bit then go back to it. And don't afraid to ask questions, the only stupid question, is the 1 you don't ask. Happy New Year.
