Very interesting topic! I will keep an eye, as I love Ardennes offensive.

I like the upgrade you made in the interior, very nice.

Will you include any figures? Dragon made the Ambush at Poteau kit. What about the scene? What about the winter chains on the wheels?

I ordered the dragon poteau set that you mentioned. I'm not sure if I will add snow or if it will just be wet mud. I might buy some PE snow chains for it as well

Dragon figures depict the most famous soldiers from Kampfgruppe Hansen /1. SS Pz Div LSSSAH/ - based on the fantastic Ron Volstad's illustations.

Based on my research, on 18th December 1944 was only a little snow /leftover/, mostly mud. The snow bagan to fall on Christmas.
Best pictures are in the book Battle of the Bulge - Then and Now by Jean Paul Pallud.

I made some great progress yesterday
First the OD with modulation



And the decals


Then I sprayed on hairspray and after I did a light coat of white



Then I chipped it



Next I need to do the detail painting, fix some of the chips, and then weather

Beautiful work! Can you please share (or maybe recommend a tutorial) the process you followed to make the canvas on the back? I really like the result!

I basically did what the guy did in this video but on a smaller scale.

I cut some small foam pieces the size of 1 35 boxes and covered it with tissue. I then wet the tissue in a water and glue mix. For the back I used some regular string for the tie-downs and then painted it with regular vallejo paint.
