SD-z184s Panzerjager Elefant

Post by privatepete »

Hi I'm starting this while I'm waiting for parts to arrive in the post :wall:

The Elefant (German for "elephant") was a heavy tank destroyer used by German Wehrmacht Panzerjäger during World War II. It was built in small numbers in 1943 under the name Ferdinand after its designer Ferdinand Porsche, using tank hulls that had been produced for the Tiger I tank requirement which was rejected in favour of a Henschel design.

Great stuff going on there Pete. Are you stress testing your new workbench to see how many models you can have on the go at once?

See, this is one of the bad things about being a modeler in the States. There are few, if any, places to go to see tanks in person, and the ones that do exist are annoyingly far away. :pistols:
