Making Ship Models in N (1:160) and Z (1:220)

My retirement business is making fine ship models for railroaders, museums, and collectors. I prefer to work in railroad scales, N and Z, although everything I do in scalable, as all drawings are computer based. I started with model railroading, but in about 2000 my railroad's harbor required some large ships. Since I also built ships since I was a child, the was a natural progression. Before I retired I was a corporate writer/producer in the computer industry and then in the nuclear weapons establishment. Love to hear comments on my site. Most of the components in N and Z scale have been built or commissioned by me. This includes railings, stairways and other parts in photo-etched brass; many 3D printed parts; and many resin-cast parts, from small fittings to entire hulls.
