Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

I'm going to post this now, because I don't think I'll get much more done throughout the week.

This is the current state of my HobbyBoss 1/48 Tornado ADV. Painted using Tamiya acrylics - base colours are Medium Sea Grey and Dark Sea Grey. Weathered using Mig Ammo medium grey panel liner to create some subtle streaking.

All that's left to do is put a bit of silver paint on the pitot and finish my scratch-built intake covers.

Airfix 1/48 Stuka B-1. It's their new tool and it's going together extremely well!

It's 99% straight out of the box. I added a set of PE seatbelts I had lying around since airfix doesn't give you ANYthing.

All paints are Tamiya so far. Everything was primed in Ultimate black, and I used dark dirt for the interior wash. Hoping to add wings here soon!

Revell (Fine Molds) 1/48 X-Wing Fighter

Building the fighter as Blue Leader from Rogue 1. Internal wing surfaces painted with Ultimate black primer then Tamiya acrylics. Weathered with Ultimate dark dirt wash and oils.

Cockpit and pilot primed with Ultimate black and painted with Tamiya acrylics and Vallejo Metal Colour.

The whole thig has gone together beautifully. I just need to finish off the cockpit then I can fit the canopy (it test fitted like a glove) and prime the beast.

Finished today, Italeri's 1/72 Mig-37 Ferret B, basically, a simple what-if built as a different what-if, the Sukhoi Su-40 Nato codename: Flatliner.
I bought this kit with the modifications in mind because i never liked the way the original design looked.
The nose was shaped with some of the scrap plastic cut from other areas of the kit and covered with Tamiya grey putty, the wings and horizontal stabilizers are from a Hasegawa F-16, the tails are the kit's parts reshaped.
The fairings for the horizontal stabs were scratch-built from Evergreen styrene strip, rod and sheet, as were the 2D thrust vector control nozzle petals for the exhausts. Ultimate sanders were used to shape and smooth everything down.
Paints used were all Tamiya, cockpit and landing gear bays were painted in a mix of XF-56 matte green with X-4 gloss blue and X-2 toned down to come close to the "cockpit turquoise".
Sprayed the XF-69 Nato black on the fuselage and X-10 Gun metal for the exhaust nozzle, and XF-86 matte varnish for the finish.
Had problems on the canopy, seems like i used too much glue and must have turned the model upside down, so the result was glue on the side windows of the windscreen. Also, the decals didn't cooperate and have lots of silvering, even after a few coats of Vallejo's medium decal solution.
Anyway, a quick and fun build to join the good folks on the what-if modellers forum GB.

Tamiya Panther Ausf. A w/Eduard Photo-Etch set

Last night I got the camouflage coat on. The base color is Tamiya XF-60 Dark Yellow, and the camo colors are Tamiya Nato Brown and Nato Green. Detail painting is next on the list, I think.

finishing up my huey with a little weathering. dragon kit, painted in mission model paint. the front half was painted red, then anarchy model skull masks were added and the helo shot in nato black. paint seems to work well, can't wait to play with it a little more. cleared random decals added, and Tamiya gray panel liner applied. and testers flat coat out of a rattle can.

After the SE5 last week I dusted the Snipe from the WIP drawer and got it over the line

Continued working on the Czech Master interior sets for the 1/35 Tamiya StuG ausf G (early). The driver's compartment and gearbox are done - painted mainly using Scale75's War Front series. And the front hatches are built and installed.

Paints Used: Main camo colours are Vallejo Model Air RLM78, RML79 & Tamiya XF-62 Olive Drab (for the mottling).

As mentioned before I took some liberties over the paint scheme and have since done similar with the load out The wash was a bit of a disaster... I got called in to work just after putting it on and wasn't able to start taking off for over 48 hours hence it looks a little heavy in places. Tried using some oils for exhaust and gun smoke streaks and used some ground soft pastels (£1 from Hobby Craft) for the dust effects. It also has some stray fingerprints (must remember to wear those damned gloves) and whilst it won't win any medals (lol) I'm reasonably happy with it.

Been working on Airfix 1/48 Hawker Hurricane Mk1 (new tool) added a Yahu instrument panel & a seat from CMK.
Primed with Ultimate black primer, cockpit green is Tamiya xf 71, detail painted with model colour and Citadel paints.
Metal parts of cockpit primed with Alclad gloss black base then different parts painted with AK xtreme metal Aluminium, dark Aluminium and white Aluminium.
Have used Aquagloss then a AK enamel wash and hb pencil for chipping, cheers

Finemolds 1/48 x-wing. Done some scratch work in the cockpit and with the pilot, but you can't see that yet, lol!

Ultimate primer, Tamiya/Mig ammo paints.

Looks a bit bright and colourful at the mo, but lots of weathering to come, which will tone it down a bit.

This week I've been trying to finish my second fish-sub from Industria Mechanika, nice, fun resin kit. Most of it has been painted in Alclad brass or AK brass, the nose is Alclad dull aluminium and Mr. Metal color dark iron. I've then weathered it using Tamiya transparent blue, green and smoke as well as Vallejo 70.974 green sky that where applied over chipping fluid and then most of it removed. Some of the PE where just burnished using the Ultimate burnishing liquid and the lightly polished with the green side of a Ultimate polishing stick. Next I need to get started on a small base for it.
