... HGW seat belts are not worth the effort in 1/48th

Just spent a couple of hours doing one part of the of a Hurricane seat belt, and although I figured out threading the belt through the PE whilst the PE is still on the fret is easier (dare I say possibly even easy?), the belt is just delicate it can fall apart at any moment

Will certainly be waiting until my skills are better before attempting that again!

Are they fabric belts? Would brushing some Matt varnish over them once they are in place help? I've never used them, so don't know if this would work. Just a thought:)

You can superglue them down, the issue is more that they are very fiddly getting them into place in the first place and it very easy to over stretch them, and if the glue in the wrong place that its
