It may be modest (like mine), but you have some lovely kits there! Quality not quantity! ;)

It is indeed out of place. It also doesn't have a Bren gun carrier in it either just spare parts. Alas space is some what of a premium in my home.

Ok, i've been going through the stash to dig out a couple of things i wanna build so i took the opportunity to take a few pics and reorganize everything.
Been buying stuff since i got back to the hobby in late 2013 and back then, my main goal was to buy all the kits of my favorite aircraft, especially the ones which i knew were out of production or simply very hard to find, like the Monogram 1/72 F-16XL, Italeri/Testor's 1/72 YF-23 Black Widow so i spent quite a few months digging around for those kits, in the pic below are some of what i call my "Holy Grail stash"...

Image

Since that pic was taken, i've built one of the Monogram F-16XL and a few more kits, but i've also bought a few more to add to that particular stash...
Most of what i bought is 1/72, only 1 in 1/144 and 9 in 1/48, but i now have a total of 119 kits... :wtf:

Image

And the rest which were falling down from the top of the pile...

Image´

Sorry for the blurry pics, i didn't notice it cause i was in a hurry to box up all those kits again, but it's enough to see what's there.
I'm over the denial phase, i've admitted i have a problem, but i'm not seeking help, no way...

:cheers2:

Holy smokes...I think your kits may be reproducing in the closet.
You show us 16 and then whammo they do an exponential increase in the next photos
I need cash to do a similar thing in my wallet :

 I think it may be worse because they're all stored away in cardboard boxes, tightly packed together... And i wasn't careful enough to separate male from female aircraft when i was arranging them in their respective boxes so i should be expecting something of the sort...
Now seriously, these were bought since September, 2013 up to the last stash addition which was the Revell Hawker Hunter, still in December of last year... there are still a few more i'd like to buy...

Well, i know i'm lucky that i have this whole room just for my toys... but i try to keep them in cardboard boxes to keep everything organized, although the storage space has been reduced to only a few more kits... but i have enough to keep building for a long time so no more rush in buying more until i've reduced the stash considerably...

Then you start buying kits and forget you already have them......a Scalemates electronic stash organizer membership is a good idea

LOL!! Hasn't happened to me so far, i keep a good track of what i buy, the kits of which i have more than one were bought on purpose, but if that happens, guess i'll have another spare kit for kitbashing...
I'm already on Scalemates, the stash organizer is a very handy tool indeed, i'm getting stuff updated there and it makes it very easy to see what's in the stash without going through the stored boxes. And that also applies to conversion sets and decal sheets, very handy indeed, and even more organized with the project section, it makes it so easy to keep track of your stuff. :thumb1:
There are still a few models i wanna buy to complete the stash, the Freedom models 1/48 F-20, Trumpeter's 1/72 Su-33D and Mig-29SMT... and the only 1/32 kits i wanna buy, Tamiya's F-16CJ Blk50 and Academy's F-16I Sufa... The display space will have to be well organized, that's for sure...

I was in my LHS today looking for a single jar a paint. Strolled by the kit section and I kid you not; when I was looking around they put a Tamiya 1/48 Ki-60 on the shelf, like they'd just gotten in from their supplier. Soooo, I've been looking for that kit for a while, picked it up and bought it without blinking. However, scalemates was handy in that, I inventoried my paints and put them on there. So when I thought I need more paint, behold, I already owned 80% of them. Great tool to have.

I'm convinced my LHS monitors my mind so it orders exactly the kits I've been thinking about a week before I show up for paint.

Their accuracy is deadly.

 I think you have me mistaken for someone else sir.
I certainly don't have any other models in my possession :shifty:

Next thing you know you will want to see pictures about some alleged house build

Here's my stash, unfortunately the photos aren't great as they're all in my loft and the lighting isn't great

As you can see I have a slight obsession with Eduard Phantoms and Bf 109s (I bought another 109 today as well :shifty:)

The wife wanted the closet back so I put up some shelving.

Still wasn't enough shelving so I ended up putting the rest under the card tables.

These should keep me busy for awhile.
