What Clean Brush after applyingPledge Floor Wax??

Post by Warren »

Gentlemen,

What does one use to clean brush after applying Johnsons Pledge (Klear) Floor wax? Mineral Spirits, Alcohol or Acetone?

Thanks.

Ultimate cleaner, or if you don't have that water and IPA Isopropyl Alcohol work fine as well.

As always happy modeling and keep sticking styrene.

Thanks. I found another cleaner, Windex, because it contains ammonia. The Floor wax instructions suggests using ammonia plus water to remove the wax. Windex contains ammonia so it should do the clean up.

Thanks.

Airbrush i use water and then some Ultimate to get the last bits out, paintbrush just a quick swill in some water. As long as you don't let it dry it comes out easily.
John, whats on my bench? Usually a mess and a couple of different models a week.

Paul,
I am located near the Atlantic Ocean in New Jersey USA. Sorry for the delay I have been away over three months from model hobbying due to a severe pinched nerve in my lower back.

ammonia is the stuff you need.....should be able to buy cloudy ammonia on it's own.
And yes take a minute to fill in your location...it makes answering questions that much easier.....you can all see how helpful it could be...
