Damaged or bent bent parts

When you accidentally damage a small part by leaning on it or even getting it off the sprue, you know the thing when it's stressed and turns white, is there a way to make it stronger again? What I mean is if you wipe something like TET, or anything else, over it and leave it to 'cure' will it increase its strength!

I find trying to repair small parts they aren't as strong using tet or other cement. However there maybe a way I don't know.

It's hard to get a good shot as the TET I applied yesterday has made it all shiny, but it has made it a bit stronger but still liable to drop off if touched.

The area of concern is the white bit in the elbow of the handlebars.

I suppose it wouldn't be too hard to remake the bars from wire or rod but I'd like to know if you can strengthen stuff for future reference on bits not so easy to replicate.

On larger pieces you can pin them. You might be able to chip a piece out of the side then fill with liquid sprue wait for that to set then do the other side...the longer the better as curing time is slow. However that is just a thought and I have never tried that and clean up would be tedious to say the least.
