Painting Reaper Miniature's, Narthrax

Post by Reddragon62 »

I haven't posted in some time here and need to get back to doing so. I have a few build's I would like to share.
I will start with one I am doing at the moment. It is Reaper Miniature's Narthrax.
Hope you all like it..
Thank you...Gilbert ( Reddragon...Reddragon Modelwerks/Styrene Syndicate )

Primed in Badger Stynylrez Black and dusted with Badger Stynylrez White for a primer coat...Sprayed with the Badger 105 Patriot.

I used Vallejo Bone and Badger Minitaire Old Bone as a base coat. Other than the eye's and tongue and Horns/Claws... in upcoming photo's, all color was done with Inks...
Used The Badger Chrome and my Iwata micron for Inks...Went back with my Rapheal 8404 brushes for detail painting and blending...

Time for more Liquitex inks...Went in with the Iwata Micron and Also used Army painter and Citadel inks....Applied with a traditional paint brush. Very thin and many coats later.....

Used Citadel Bone for the horns...Aged them with traditional Inks and citadel Rekhland Flesh....

So...This is where I am at now with it...It is far from complete.
