Mr Surfacer 1200

Post by Steveo535 »

Hi All

Recently started modelling again and have some Mr Surfacer 1200 which I need to use today but I have found it has thickened up from what it was due to the time Ive had it.

So my question is do I need to buy a new pot or is there anyway to thin it down ?

You can thin it down with lacquer thinner

AKA Cellulose thinners in some places including the UK. Mr Surfacer will always thicken over time due to the highly aromatic nature of it's base ingredient and it is fine to thin it again with Cellulose Thinners.
