Lifecolor paint problem

Post by expc624kevneale »

:wall:
Hi all, I am having a few problems with airbrushing Lifecolor paint. Whilst airbrushing Lifecolor Interior green oñn the cockpit of my Sip MkVb it blocked my airbrush and I had to do a full stripdown clean to free it.
I then went on to Mr Hobby/Mr color paint and had no problems.
Can you spray Lifecolor or is it just for hand painting, it looked thick in the bottle so I had put som CMP thinners in it.

Their thinner or distilled water is the only thing that I have found that seems to work pretty reliable.
Some of their paints is a bit more forgiving though.

I would go a bit lower to minimize tip dry. 12 - 15psi is where I'm at.
