Spray Mask & Acrylic paints??

Post by Warren »

Gentlemen,
I plan to use a MASTERS Airbrush spray booth in a small room which has a fan vent (was a photo darkroom). I will use acrylic paints only.
I have read that with this spray booth exhaust tubing is not necessary, if acrylic paints are used. However, would I need a spray mask?

Thanks.

I would put one on anyway if you have one, only takes a second.

I only use acrylics and I always use a spray mask. While there isn't really a chemical smell there will still be plenty of paint particles going round which you are going to breath in. For safety best to wear one, while most will get pulled through the booths filter (no need to vent outside) some won't and over many hours you are going to use it you will end up with nice multi-coloured lungs.

Hi please wear a mask those little paint particulars will get into your lungs every time you breath in . Safely first you only have one pair of lungs look after them . It's something I known a bit about. :cheers2:
