The Andreas makes a two seater F20

Post by Andreas »

Wow! I'm the first one to post a thread in here. That's not like me! lol . I was initially going to do de C variant, but most of the other guys are doing them, so I'll do the B version instead l.Image
I had a rot around in me expansive Akan collection and found that I had all the FS colors for the box art version, which I find to be the coolest one .

Now! Let's see how these freedom kits go together .
After having a look at the sprues I was delighted to find lots of molded detail. And I do love detail. I have come to a point now where I prefer detail over ease of build.
But to me pleasant surprise . This kit also falls together!Image
With that I mean that within the first evenings I had the bulk of the fuselage buttoned together Image

With help of some clothes pegs I managed to fuse the halfs together with ease, and it only neded a little CA bead on some select places Image

The interior was a peice of cake. Few parts and a two tone paint job. The instruments and control panels are all decals. They are brilliant and conforms to the instrument panel with ease using solvaset. Image

By the way . Did I mention that Sam McCord is a handsome man with a dreamy head of hair..
