1/6 Panzer II build [WIP]

Post by Fanster »

Hi,
This thread will be updated with pictures of my corrent Panzer II build.

I'm in no way a rivet-counter, but I have always wanted to build something really detailed, so this build will include lots and lots of rebuilding.

First up, some details of the sprocket. added some wires to the locking nuts, and removed the mold marks from the inside surface

Next up, I modelled this black piece for the sprocket in a CAD-program, and printed it on my 3D-printer (and yes, there is more 3D-printing in this build).

This is todays build, modified the suspensions a bit.
3D-printed some fasteners and added some hex-nuts.

Thank you!

It's a Dragon kit I picked up last summer, but only recently started building it.

Built some stoppers for the suspension arm. The stoppers supplied with the kit was rotated upside down, and lacked some detail.

Did some work on the exhaust. After a couple of failed attempts creating complex curves in brass plate, and plasticard, I modeled the part I wanted and printed it. This is the result:Image

The 3d printed exhaust is a big improvement. Kudos for your attention to detail! :th:
