Ruined decals again

Post by Davethepitch »

Hi all

I have had a little break from doing models and about two weeks ago i decided to build a bike kit i had off johnj and yet again i have managed to ruin the decals no matter how gentle i am.

I guess my eyes and fingers are starting to struggle doing models but i still have two more bikes but one does not have decals.

The pictures below are of the ruined bike. :(

Dave., that kit might be getting on for 20yrs old. The decals might have gone brittle.
The bike looks good., i'm not sure what decals have gone wrong .,?
Money is'nt everything but it sure keep's the kid's in touch.

The decals that go on the white section have a blue stripe that matches the main side decals fell bits so I just made do with other decals.

I see one Honda decal smeared..heck not that bad at all. She is a beautiful bike mate
It is frustrating when you work so hard and the decals disintegrate and let you down..been there for sure
You could detail her like the bike got dropped and a bit of road rash or usage marks for those damaged areas...ie not a pristine showpiece
Chin up mate, she is still a beauty
