"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK?" - A NEW SEGMENT OF FRIDAY NIGHT'S ISM LIVE "AT THE BENCH" SHOW!

* Open now until 1 hour before the show on Friday, June 16th*

** PLEASE read ALL of the rules below carefully! **

Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

We thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your models! - Lee Larholt, Paul Bretland, and the rest of the ISM moderators and live crew. :-)

Decided to take a break from the Typhoon last week and got the camo colours on this Trumpeter 1/72 Mig-29A. The colour callout on the instructions was way off, so I decided to mix my own green by eye using a few Tamiya and Mr Hobby greys and greens until I was happy with it. I didn't take note of the ratios or colours!

I think it looks ok, and most importantly, I enjoyed it!

My Academy 1/72 A10A for the Warring Weather GB. I've finished the basic build, sorted out the sanding down the seams and rescribed where necessary. The canopy has been masked with Tamiya tape for curves, masking tape and a little white tac, and the whole thing has been primed in Ultimate black primer. The tank is Revell's 1/72 T-72 and will be bashed about a bit to represent a knocked out example for the base; this is mostly dry fitted at the moment in a rare outbreak of planning but I think this photo gives an idea of what I've got in mind for the end result.

Thanks for looking.
Cheers, Neil

Haven't been working too much on this Fujimi Porsche 917k yet. So far I've only prepped the body and got some Ultimate white primer down. The plan for this is to start the actual building at 15 on Saturday at the start of Le Mans and then finish it before the end of the race at 15 on Sunday. I hope my small setup with video streams and live timing will help me stay awake for over 24h so I can get this finished.

Progress so far on my Hasegawa 1/48 P-38 Lightning. She was painted with a base coat of MRP Super Gloss Black followed by AK Extreme Metal Chrome resulting in a SUPER shiny finish. Nice kit without any real issues tarted up with some Eduard PE.

Continuing to work on my Airfix 1/48 Hawker Hurricane for the Warring Weather GB. Primed with Stynylrez Black and painted with custom mixes of Tamiya paints. Just finished an Aqua Gloss coat, decals are next. Coming together well, only AM will be a Squadron canopy.

1/48 Tamiya A-1J Skyraider

Primed in Ultimate Black Primer. Painted in Tamiya XF-54 Dark Sea Gray, and Model Master 4767 Aircraft Interior Black for the panels, seat was done in Tamiya XF-62 Olive Drab. Dry brush in Vallejo Metal Aluminum for the switches and Tamiya gloss red for the other bits. Used a ton of microsol/microset for the instrument panel decal.

Sweet kit that's going together really well! My girlfriend got it for me for my birthday, she has excellent taste (and my scalemates wishlist may have helped a bit.) First aircraft I've started in a while because I've been on a bit of an armor kick recently.

Have had very little bench time of late but have squeezed a little in this week on the Airfix 1/48 Hawker Hurricane mk1.
Have used Ultimate dark dirt mixed with a little Ultimate concrete washes to lighten it, then have started the weathering process with Abteilung oils also am trying out some transparent white oil paint from Windsor & Newton for fading the decals, cheeres :th:
