1/48 Grumman F6F-5K Hellcat Drone

I've wanted to build one of these for a long time and now I finally got time to finish it. The drones were radio contolled and painted in red or orange color schemes. This one was used for missile test purposes at Point Mugu training center, California in 1950. The kit is Eduards weekend edition and the decals come from Alley Cat Models.

Extremely cool and unusual. Love the vivid paint work and worn high vis markings.
