Airplane antenna wire

Hi All,
I need some help. I'd like to install some antenna wiring on my FW190 but dont know what material to use. I've tried a fishing line with ca glue but it didnt work well. I also tried some invisible thread from "the range" but no luck as well. Could someone recommend something better, please?

I struggled with get EZ line to stay in place tbh, in my last build I used some stretched sprue and found it much easier so it might be worth giving that a go

I really like EZ Line and use gel CA to fix it.

Without tensioning the wire I cut it just short of the length the antenna needs to be, I then attach one end making sure the wire is attached to the plastic in the right plane angle for how the cable is going to sit. I then CA the other end and hold it in place in tension until it is stuck then release the tension slowly, result is a tight line but not so tight it pulls away or breaks.

As Stokesy says, it's a dodle to use. Although I picked up a tip on YT. I no longer glue it under tension but with a little bit of slack, it easier to glue. Then when the CA has dried I just pass a heat source (like a soldiering iron) close to it and it contracts putting it under tension

Does it still have the elasticity when you do it like that?

Just curious as that is IMO the major advantage of it so if the the elasticity is still them I will give it another go

Stretched sprue is a doddle, you have reams of 'practise parts' per kit and it can be stretched and stopped at appropriate thicknesses with only a little experimentation and practise, can also be glued with styrene cement if preferred over CA and snipped to length after gluing.
It has a multitude of uses too, I've used white stretched sprue as piping on a hood cover on my 'The Prisoner' (No6) Lotus 7 hood cover.

Thankyou, I was very pleased with that one, a favourite TV show many years ago and I'd wanted to build an accurate replica of KAR120C for some time.
Do have a practise with stretching sprue, it's incredibly easy, the trick is rotating the sprue above the flame until it turns glossy and just starts to sag under its own weight then a nice steady but even pull until you reach the desired thickness.
