Thanks, Photobucket

One quick bit of business that I feel needs to be addressed is the recent Photobuckery. Given that there is to be judging for prizes based largely on build threads we need to decide what to do about that come September when it's time for the judges to do their dark works and conjure up winners. This obviously doesn't affect the random prize draw for finishing.

The way I see it I'm considering just asking the judges to disregard the scoring prior to July 4 (or whenever the shenanigans began) and go from there. The alternative is to ask the posters to backfill their images by the end of the build 9/30. But before I make any final decisions I'm keen to hear your thoughts on the matter so do please let them flow in the comments here if you have any. I'll make a final decision July 31.

Thanks!

I vote backfill your posts for the Sig
It completely sucks, but really should go back and re-populate the build threads and reveals...that is what is being judged
I did that for both the Egg build SIG and the FAA SIG

If you start with your most recent or any that are in sigs etc, easy to find your recent pics...It is the couple year old builds that I cannot find all my photos :wall: Some threads I doubt I will rebuild

Iva always used Flkcr so I had no problems, but then so new as well by only 2 months or so. Whatever you feel works Lysus sounds agreeably to me. I hope it brings back the folks that got invaded by those greedy morons tho. A shame to waste so much of your time and trouble by failures like PB.

I just had a quick run through the build threads and unless I missed any it looks like there are only three that were bucketed: Hkopper, Pr1mus & some guy called Lysus.

I know it's a pain but since it's only the three I think it'd be cool if you could backfill where ever possible.
Cheers, Neil

Sorry I missed yours Nev - I just assumed that because I could see the pics they weren't via Bucket!

Looks like they've not mangled everyone for some reason

Sorry this slipped by me, I do think that we should ask that builders go back and add pictures to their WIPs. Having done a couple for myself it's not great fun, but it doesn't take TOO long once you get into the groove.

You can of course choose not to, but if you're gunning for a judge prize that may hurt your scoring :th:
