Fujimi Williams FW16b

Post by andyh787 »

Thought I'd share this build with you, attempting to modify the San Marino FW16 to the later b version. So far I've added the wooden plank to the floor and cut the extra hole in the rear in front of the rear Wing. Cut out the bargeboards but need to attach the tub.

That's the parts that I am happy with, how ever the engine cover and tub section. I used Zero Paints Primer and paints but when I peeled the masking tape off I peeled the paint both white and blue and probably the primer as well. I washed the plastic before painting but guessing I didn't use enough primer to start with, well that's my guess, but any advice will be appreciated.

I have now stripped these parts back to the plastic and washed and cleaned them.
