Hi Ian and thank you much appreciated, l think you are bing very hard on yourself. Before I was ill I did use a airbrush and was a lot better with it than I am with a paint brush oh happy days, and there are better people than me out there who brush paint

Looking rather amazing, I can never manage to paint within the lines myself. Some paint always gets where it shouldn't. Do you use an acrylic retarder when hand-painting your models? I just got some Tamiya Acrylic Retarder and it looked amazing when I tried it out on some Russian uniforms.
Props on the dusty look too, I don't think I've ever tried achieving it myself, I'm too fond of the mud-bathing tank, and the idea of trying any other way horrifies me a little.

Thank you, I only use de-ionised water to thin my paint, I found that tamiya paints where to think, I personally use Vallejo model color, lifecolor , and more recently AK , MIG but they don't need thining, that's the way I personally paint it's probably wrong but it the way I do it. Hope that was some help.

So I'm building a trial pit for the M7 this was done to increase the range ,by elevating the front.
