Post by Cymru »

I am building an initial production (DAK) Tiger I and I have another question I can't find a definitive answer to, did these have steel or rubber road wheelst?

I think only the late tiger 1 had steel wheels, rubber was in short supply......but don't take that as gospel.
take a look at these.

I would also recommend you read http://tiger1.info/ - It's the definite source on Tiger 1 model kits on the internet.

You're welcome, although I've gotta commend Adam Mann on Youtube for advertising the Tiger1.info site to me, I didn't find it out on my own.

Steel wheels only from January 44.

Definitely rubbers for a Tiger serving in North Africa :th:
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.
