Stokesy's Airfix 1/48 Hurricane Mk 1

Post by Stokesy44 »

Re-upped following the PB debacle :th:

Painted using Tamiya acrylics, weathered with pastel sludge washes and Vallejo metal colour for dry-brushing and chipping. I tried to get a bit arty with the angles and hues. Looks like my reach exceeded my grasp

Looks great! I wanted a real image to go with your book!

Thanks mate, as I was building it I thought, hey, this is Michael's Hurricane! Stupid I know, but who cares eh? :th:

Thank you Sir.

Following the whole PB balls up I've been thinking about reposting some of my pics. I think posting reveal pics is probably the way to go. Reconstituting the build threads would be way too massive a PITA! :eeek:
