PE to clear parts help

Post by gaz45 »

Before fitting the canopy on my build there is some PE to fix on the canopy

My question is how do you attach the PE to the clear parts without them fogging up

I use Micro Krystal Klear, but should be ok with most PVA glues that dry clear. Just a small amount should do it.

I would use PVA too, and then not even breathe near it for the fear of it falling off.

I glue tiny PE part with Future. I think it could work with a canopy as well.

I bought the el cheapo stuff on eBay just to try. Although I wouldn't use it to fix a table leg etc it might work well for this. I don't know if it was just the cheap stuff I bought or not but it took quite a while, relatively, for it to work not the 10 seconds or whatever that's advertised.
But as I say it may work well for very small stuff.

I did the same and was disappointed. I wondered wether or not the supplied uv light was actually on the right bandwidth cause it didn't cure at all. I tossed it.
