Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

Only a small update from last week - I managed to finish the seats for my 1/48 Academy F-14. PE harnesses were painted with Tamiya XF-54 Medium Sea Gray, with Vallejo Metal Color Dull Aluminium for the buckles, and Tamiya Flat Black and Yellow for some other details.

Below it's ZIL -131 Emergency truck. ICM 1/35 scale. Almost finished need some "glass" work and other small bits installed. Out of the box. Very nice kit but the decals are nightmare. Basically they fall apart when transferring on the model.

This is my entry for the Space SiG - Revell's 1/48 Lunar Module. Being a Revell kit from the early 80s based on moulds from the 60s it feels like I've replaced about 90% of the original plastic with filler and sanded it into submission to get something more or less the right shape. I know Bret recently said we should all try one of the older kits from time to time but I can only assume I was more tolerant of these things when I first built this as a lad back in t'70s. Anyway I've ignored the painting instructions in the kit as they're completely wrong and used references photos from the net; the whole thing was primed in Ultimate black, this was masked off and Vallejo Metal colour Aluminium was applied. Any tidying up has been done by brush with Vallejo Model Colour. The gold foil was included in the kit and has been CA'd in place - again ignoring the kit instructions. Next up working out the spindly leggy bits. I'm really hoping for the 50th anniversary in 2019 we get some fresh toolings of these vehicles rather than just the old stuff repackaged in a new box which is what happened for the 40th anniversary.

I have been working on my Hubble Telescope entry for the Space SIG. Since it is a scratch build I am still in the design phase. I am using reference materials from NASA to create a 3D model. I am using Autodesk Fusion 360 for the design work. I have the basic shape layed out and am now working on some of the smaller details.

Once the modelling is complete I will split the object into smaller parts and print using a Moai SLA resin printer. The printer uses a laser to harden layers of UV reactive liquid resin into a hard polymer.

One of the challenges that I am facing is having to both design a structure that looks right, but also something that I can then print, assemble, build, and paint. I guess it is essentially building a one-off kit.

Hi everyone, greetings from the south of Portugal!
Yesterday i finished my Revell boxing of the Italeri 1/72 YF-23 Black Widow, but again, it's a what-if build.
It's a 1991 kit, kind of a "holy grail" kit for me, it's the only decent 1/72 scale kit ever made of the YF-22's rival in the USAF's ATF competition.
I sanded off the raised panel lines and engraved the detail with my RB productions Scribe-R engraving tool, added the tails, horizontal stabs and lower exhaust nozzles from a DML 1/72 YF-22 Raptor kit and gave the YF-23 thrust vectoring. Also used some Tamiya putty and Evergreen styrene sheet bits sanded with Ultimate sanders to finish off the exhaust nozzles area.
Tamiya paints and clear varnishes all the way, AK paneliner to bring out the detail. All in all, it was fun build, the kit went together with no real issues, besides the ones i created with the modifications.
Hope you guys like it, i know some people don't see the point of what if-builds but that's how i get my kick out of modelling.
