Research

Post by GMahaffey »

Who do you do your research on a kit after the purchase? I want to do a more detailed model airplane but I can;t really get the research that I need for the subject. I was researching MiG-27 wheel wells and what the walls were painted as and I didn't come up with any relevant information for it.

Finding information like that is best done with google images (looking for mig 27 land gear, or something similar) or also try searching for "walkarounds" if you are lucky, another fan of the plane/tank/whatever has found one on display and thoroughly photographed it. Some times, like in the case of the wheel wells, it may be better to try other terms, like landing gear, and hope that what you seek is in the photo.
