Will be there and defo be at Ultimate stand donating for another year. Will try and photograph the works of art before I drool all over them such as the SWS stand  Needless to say I intend to keep hands buried in pockets without spending muchos £’s on things I didn’t realise I needed like that ridiculously expensive but amazingly LOVELY (imho) 1/16 tamiya jagdpanther.. The car parks are only 20 minutes away, so I can sneak her home :o.

Yep I know it sounds wrong but you guys understand, I hope

Just went though part 2 with all of the competition tables....some amazing work on there and even some familiar builds ;)
I am just going to say this again, I don't know how anyone could judge any of these...you are comparing apples to oranges, Rembrants to Picassos
it does not make any logical sense being able to compare and award some but not others.
Cheers to all who put their hard work and energy into this :cheers2:

I am watching Flory's video on the Telford 2017 competition area...amazingly it is for free!!! It is a very good video :thumb2:
He is methodical in moving up and down and across a table to show all the builds...not easy to do when you are at a show like this as you want to focus on what you want to focus on.
Funny though as he skipped the full on of a red MG car I wanted to see and did not come back to it. We all have our biases and that shows in this filming.
Not trying to hack on him, WE ALL HAVE OUR BIASES.
I took photos at out local IPMS show in October of stuff I liked and skipped tons of other builds...my bias

So, I am trying to imagine judging the table. How can you even compare things in the grouping. I saw a wicked diorama of a float plane with THE most amazing water created and it gets nothing but beside it a 1/72 German plane sitting bare on the table gets GOLD??!! :
That doesn't make sense to me. Subjective Biases
